Dr. Vitente is the course lead in Human Anatomy, Clinical Neuroscience, and Management of the Older Adult. He is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy who is passionate about the human body and eliminating stereotypes, prejudice, and discrimination towards others or oneself based on age and gender.

Dr. Vitente focuses on physical therapy education, interprofessional education and collaboration, and social determinants of health and learning. Critical questions need answers in a hybrid accelerated curriculum model, thus, his interest revolves around finding effective and efficient strategies to create a community of lifelong learners in this model with a sense of belonging.
