Esports at Graceland University

Graceland Esports offers opportunities for students to participate in a competitive environment and represent their university with pride in an all new, and exciting way. Esports represents yet another way for a diverse range of students to connect with their university and experience even greater value from their college experience. It's about more than just playing playing video games. Esports students are serious about the game and must develop and hone the necessary skills to be successful as a team. Esports even has direct application in the global workforce beyond graduation.

Not sure what Esports is? Esports is competitive multiplayer video gaming, which attracts millions of viewers worldwide to the professional tournaments. Colleges have now begun entering the esports arena, offering team opportunities to students from all backgrounds.

Jared Doty"I am very excited for the future of Graceland University Esports. This opportunity offers a new way for students to become part of a team and reap the benefits of competition. Esports is open and accessible – regardless of gender or physical skill – yet offers high levels of competition and opportunities for students to represent their school. I can’t wait to get started!"
