Adjunct Professor of Humanities

The Humanities department at Graceland University invites applications for an Adjunct Professor position for the upcoming Spring semester. The part-time position begins January 2023 and has the potential for subsequent renewals on a semester basis as needed. An M.A. in Composition and Rhetoric, Communication, Rhetoric, English, or related field required by August 2022; ABD or PhD candidates preferred.

We are looking for candidates who have experience teaching Humanities core courses in Composition and Public Speaking. The 2/2 teaching load includes Composition I (rhetoric and argumentation), Public Speaking, Composition II (research and collaborative writing), or other Humanities courses as needed. Demonstrated teaching excellence and a commitment to undergraduate teaching is required.
