Assistant Professor of Education

Dr. Beth Gregory is an educational leader who is passionate about ensuring all learners are valued, engaged, and stretched in inclusive classrooms. She has the opportunity to teach a variety of education courses for pre-service teachers in the Gleazer School of Education at Graceland University.

She has a true passion for teaching and helping students on their journeys as they discover themselves, their interests, ambitions, and seeing themselves as future teachers. She appreciates the individuality of each student as they bring unique perspectives and experiences into classes. Prior to entering higher education, Beth was employed as an elementary education teacher in diverse high-need communities as a leader and educator, bridging the gap between privilege and poverty.

Beth’s research interest focus on youth at risk, elementary and early childhood mathematics, pre-service and beginning teacher experiences and support, early childhood and elementary literacy education, educational impact of violence and trauma on students, non-traditional post-secondary students, applied learning experiences for pre-service educators, and gender equity within the educational arena.
