The Power of Connection

The bonds formed at Graceland don’t end with graduation. In fact, our goal is to help you keep the lifelong connections you made at Graceland alive through events, networking opportunities, volunteer activities and so much more.

Any student who completes 12 credit hours at any of our locations is considered a proud member of the Graceland University Alumni Association. There are no annual dues, though we welcome your generosity.

Join us for the annual public meeting, held every year on the Saturday of Homecoming. All members may pose questions and express concerns at this meeting.

Alumni Stories and Testimonials
Graceland was the right choice for paving a successful path for my future. The community is reflective of the ‘Power of Together’. Faculty put in the effort to connect, teach, and understand all students. Personally, I had faculty push and motivate me beyond my limits in the classroom and on the court. In choosing my next path after graduation, professors took the time to sit down with me and explore all the opportunities and possibilities available. Graceland has so many resources which provide success; you just have to want it.

My circle of close friends from Graceland grew quicker and has lasted longer than I could have imagined. I never considered myself very outgoing, but everything about Graceland invites you to grow as a human being.

Alumni Stories and Testimonials
Graceland taught me that in order to be the best teammate you need to hone in on your individual skills to make your team better. Graceland taught me what my strengths were and helped me to identify what I needed to work on to be better. This applies to the classroom as well as in the workplace. Working hard, being supportive of my coworkers successes, and striving to be better than I was yesterday are just a few skills I learned at Graceland.

Graceland Forever

Throw on your blue and gold, and join us in a walk down memory lane.

Alma Mater Hymn:

Come Graceland sons and daughters all,
and join our happy throng.
With loyal voices let us raise
our Alma Mater song.
O hillcrest home of vision wide,
where bonds of love hold sway.
Where all may learn in life and lore
’tis Thee we praise today.

Through memory a thread shall run,
of golden richness made.
Cementing there the treasures rare
in thy foundation laid.
O Alma Mater, guide us on,
thy standard e’er unfold
And call us on with memories
of days ‘neath the Blue and Gold.

Through years and decades long to come
thy battlemented tower
Shall rise to call the youth of lands
to answer to the hour.
And while thy work shall carry on,
our benisons are told
In lives of honor, truth and right,
the seal of the Blue and Gold.

—Roy A. Cheville, 1926

School Song: Graceland Forever

Graceland Forever, dear Alma Mater
Long may she ever firm keep her stand.
Her sons and daughters carry to others
Her fame throughout the land, Rah, rah, rah.
Graceland, Graceland, we’re all for you,
Strong, united, loyal and true.
We’ll carry on ’til victory is won,
Oh, Graceland, we’re all for you!
