Coliseum Fundraisers

The Graceland music department is excited to offer two special events designated to raise funds specifically for the Lamoni Coliseum, a fixture in the community since 1911. Like many businesses, the Coliseum was affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

“Growing up in small town Iowa, I recognize the value of having a community movie theatre. This is a great opportunity for our singers to use their skills in action and give back to the community.” – Dr. Sara Blessing, Graceland University, Director of Choral/Vocal Activities

These special events will directly benefit the Coliseum.

A Night At The Movies!

Graceland Choirs

Shaw Family Auditorium

This concert will feature beloved, classic songs from a wide variety of movies, including Casablanca, Summer Stock, West Side Story, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Top Gun, Working Girl, Titanic, Skyfall, The Greatest Showman, Star Wars, and many more!

7:30 p.m., Thursday, March 3
Lamoni Coliseum

The Graceland Jazz Ensemble will hold a special concert inside the Coliseum itself featuring music from famous movies throughout history.
