Faith-Based Aid

Community of Christ Study and Faith Scholarship

This scholarship is available to Graceland University Lamoni campus students who are members of Community of Christ, enrolled full time and make satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the Graceland University catalog.

This scholarship is a commitment from the University that all members of Community of Christ will receive total institutional aid at a minimum of 50 percent cost of tuition for up to four years of full-time enrollment. Community of Christ membership is defined by a member designation in the World Church database.

Any increases in tuition will result in a recalculation of the Study and Faith Scholarship, and adjustments will be made to the student's benefit. Students receiving a combination of academic merit, premier or performance scholarships may not see a Study and Faith Scholarship in their financial aid award letter if the total institutional aid is already at or above 50 percent cost of tuition.

Faith Commitment Grant | Application

This grant is for non-Community of Christ Lamoni campus students.

  • Graceland University will provide matching funds up to $500 per year.
  • Funds donated must be by an authorized denomination or church jurisdiction.
  • The student or family may contribute to those funds but may not be the majority contributor.

Graceland University strives to provide genuine spiritual growth to students from all faith communities. The lives of our students are enriched by the religious diversity of our campus. To support this enrichment, Graceland provides the Faith Commitment Grant to non-Community of Christ members. Congregations or church jurisdictions of all denominations are encouraged to support their youth. To assist, Graceland will match the faith contribution up to $500 per academic year. The grant must be from funds authorized and generated by a congregation or jurisdiction. Some examples of fund sources are memorial funds, youth fundraisers and special offerings. Families of the student may participate by giving to the fund if they are not the major contributor and if the church has complete discretion to determine the recipient as well as the timing and amount of the award.
