Karen Gergely Gives Presentation at MACAA Conference

Graceland University Assistant Professor of Art and Art Department Coordinator Karen Gergely, MFA, presented her research, “Technology’s Role in Socially Engaged Art,” at the Mid America College Art Association (MACAA) Conference at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Oct. 5. Gergely was also one of 10 artists juried into MACAA Members Juried Exhibition hosted by the Eisentrager Howard Gallery at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.

Additionally, Gergely has been invited to exhibit her work in the North Mountain Residency Retrospective Exhibition hosted by the Phaze 2 Gallery at Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The exhibition will focus on providing, “a place for working and emerging artists to reflect, observe, research, experiment and create,” and will run from Sept. 4-28, 2019.
