Technology Exploration Day

The demand for technology experts today is huge!

The Department of CSIT, Data Science, and Math are inviting juniors and seniors to attend the Graceland University Technology Exploration Day. The day is about discovering what it takes to be a part of the technology revolution through fun hands-on activities and short talks with the experts.

Counselors and teachers are welcome to explore with their students and should also register.

Scholarship Opportunities

If you are serious about studying technology at Graceland, we would like to help.

In addition to the fun giveaways, faculty from the Department of CSIT, Data Science, and Math will be available to discuss the prestigious Ackerley and Resch Scholars programs. In addition to scholarship opportunities ranging from $2000 up to full tuition, both programs offer participants deep integration into one of several academic programs as well as special activities not open to everyone.

Brian grew up in Lamoni, Iowa. His first programming course was as a first year student at Graceland University. After earning a Bachelor of Science in both Computer Science/Information Technology and Mathematics in 2013, he moved out to the Silicon Valley in California. He worked at a smart home company called Nest Labs, developing nest.com. After Google acquired Nest, his team transferred to work on store.google.com. Right now, Brian leads a team of 8 engineers, primarily responsible for preparing the website for product launches and promotion campaigns.

Alex is a proud Graceland alum currently working at Apple. Previously, he worked at Google and Nest Labs. He spends his free time repairing retro video game consoles, riding motorcycles, and podcasting about Batman.
