Welcome to the President's Blog

President Pat Draves and her husband, Jeff Draves with Sting, Graceland 's mascot

Graceland University has always been on the front row of innovation, stepping into new and relevant higher education pathways. I am excited to be able to communicate with the Graceland family and friends in this new format.

I want to share what I see as I make my rounds on campus, as I visit alumni around the world and witness what this university means to so many people. It is my hope that this blog will provide a window into the heartbeat of the university, and I will offer my perspective of one who is privileged and humbled to lead as president.

I think a blog, with the innovative aspect of allowing personal expression, is exactly the platform to tell the Graceland story, so that you’ll be able to see what I see on a regular basis. I’ll include student highlights, refer to current local and national higher education themes, point to news releases and share content.

I hope you’ll subscribe to my blog, and I look forward to seeing you on our beautiful campuses.

Some good news I’d like to share:
