Graceland athletic programs are celebrating their NAIA Scholar Team Award winners.
Graceland University proudly announces that multiple athletic programs have been recognized with the NAIA Scholar Team Award, honoring teams that excelled academically with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.
This year, several Yellowjacket teams nationally ranked among the top programs:
Men’s Soccer – 3rd (3.66 GPA)
Men’s Wrestling – 4th (3.33 GPA)
Softball – 5th (3.76 GPA)
Competitive Dance – 7th (3.40 GPA)
Men’s Golf – 10th (3.58 GPA)
Other Graceland teams earning the honor include Women’s Outdoor Track & Field (3.65), Women’s Indoor Track & Field (3.59), Women’s Golf (3.58), Women’s Soccer (3.46), Women’s Volleyball (3.21), Men’s Cross Country (3.20), Baseball (3.18), Men’s Basketball (3.06), and Men’s Volleyball (3.02).
“These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our student-athletes in balancing their academic and athletic commitments,” said Brady McKillip, Graceland’s Athletic Director. “We are proud to see their hard work recognized on a national level.”
The NAIA Scholar Team Award recognizes teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better while including every varsity athlete certified as eligible for competition.
Graceland continues to set the standard for excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
