Steve Glazer Attends Conference at Midwest World History Association

Graceland University Professor of History Steve Glazer, PhD, attended the 10th annual conference of the Midwest World History Association held this year at North Hennepin Community College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Glazer gave a presentation on “The Graceland University History Department’s Assessment Process” as part of a roundtable panel on “Assessing Undergraduate History Programs: Practical Considerations.” Glazer also chaired a panel on “Helping Secondary Students Develop Historical Thinking Skills” and attended multiple panels devoted to pedagogy and original research. Glazer is a member of the Executive Council of the Midwest World History Association and served on the conference planning committee for this year’s gathering.
