Graceland University Assistant Professor of Music Sara Blessing, MM

Graceland University Assistant Professor of Music Sara Blessing, MM, is one of 17,572 singers from 129 countries represented in the largest virtual choir ever to exist. Early on in the Covid-19 pandemic, Eric Whitacre wrote a song to reflect this challenging time. The song was titled “Sing Gently.”  Whitacre sent out a call for singers to participate in this virtual choir, and Blessing was among those selected. The song premiered Sunday, July 19. This is Blessing’s second time participating in Whitacre’s virtual choirs. You can see/listen here.
