Graduate Assistant Positions Announced for MSNHP Program

The Health and Movement Science Department is excited to announce two new Graduate Assistant (GA) positions for the Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance program (MSNHP). The two graduate assistant positions include:

  • MSNHP Health and Wellness Promotion Graduate Assistant
  • MSNHP Strength and Conditioning Coach Graduate Assistant

Interim Program Director, Dr. James Geiselman said, “This is a great opportunity for our students to get a great quality education, while receiving hands-on experience in their chosen fields.”

“As a product of a graduate assistantship I am excited to be able to offer this opportunity for students to get experiences that will help connect knowledge to practical application. Positions like these are great opportunities for students to gain valuable career advancement experiences under the watchful eye of an experienced professional.” – James Geiselman

The GA positions require a 2-year commitment and requires acceptance into the MSNHP program. “Students who turn in their graduate applications by the early admittance deadline will qualify to apply for one of the two graduate assistant positions,” Geiselman said.

Applications for the Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance program are open now and early acceptance closes May 1, 2021. For more details on each graduate position, students should visit the job postings above to ensure they meet additional qualifications.
