The Graceland University Choirs will perform a free concert entitled “Songs of Love” in a free concert on campus at 7:30 p.m., Friday, November 15, in the Shaw Family Auditorium. “This will be a very exciting choral performance,” said Dr. Leonardo Lebas, Director of Choral Activities for Graceland University. “Our concert is an exploration of varied expressions of love throughout different countries, eras, and musical genres,” continued Dr. Lebas.  The performance will feature numbers from the musical “Les Misérables,” a cappella choral arrangements of songs by The Beatles, Latin-American Baroque music, and works by Eric Whitacre and by Dr. Lebas.

“We look forward to sharing the musical fellowship this vibrant evening, of great sacred choral music with the residents of south-central Iowa and north-central Missouri,” Dr. Lebas added.
