Winter Term 2015

COSA sponsored a trip to Des Moines to watch an Iowa Wild hockey game. Around forty students signed up for a free ticket, soda, popcorn, hot dog and a ride to Des Moines. We had good seats and it was a lot of fun. There was a school band there playing music before the game. The Wild outscored the Lake Eerie Monsters 3-1 for the win. There was some fighting in the first period but they kept going strong. At intermission there was some good entertainment such as dancing and games for the audience to participate in to win prizes. We all got free tacos from Taco John’s and Dick’s Sporting Goods coupons because a kid in the audience correctly predicted what player would score the most goals before the game.
