Laurie Browne, PsyD
Adjunct Faculty - Psychology
Laurie Browne, PsyD, is a faculty associate in the Psychology department at Graceland University. She teaches courses in industrial organizational psychology, developmental psychology and introductory to psychology.
Dr. Browne completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Towson University and went on to earn a Master of Arts and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Washington DC. She completed an internship and three pre-doctoral externships at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, a residential treatment center, a group home and an outpatient clinic. Her post-doctoral residency was concluded at a community mental health center in northern Virginia.
Outside of teaching, Dr. Browne works in private practice where she completes psychological and psychosexual evaluations for the Departments of Juvenile Justice and Social Services.
In her free time, Dr. Browne enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, watching baseball and football, and spending time with friends and family.
