Assistant Professor of Health and Movement Science

Vanessa K. King, DC, MSN, MTAA is a graduate of Logan University having obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic followed by a Master of Science Degree in Nutrition and Human Performance with highest honors, as well as certifications in physiotherapy and acupuncture, acupressure, and meridian therapy. She then went on to work in private practice, as well as teaching functional nutrition courses as a full-time faculty instructor within Logan University and the College of Health Sciences at Logan University. Currently, Dr. King is privileged to be working with Graceland University in the Division of Nutrition and Human Performance. 

Passionate about learning, teaching, and bringing functional nutrition into practical application is her passion. Dr. King enjoys the collaboration of working with the next generation of individuals influencing health. She believes strongly that exploring the intricate interconnections of nutrition and how broadly it affects overall health can change the world, even if it’s through one person, or one family at a time.
