Graceland University and Logan University Establish 3+3 Pathway to Doctor of Chiropractic Degree

New articulation agreement provides Graceland Allied Health students with an accelerated pathway to a Doctor of Chiropractic degree

LAMONI, Iowa — Graceland University and Logan University have established a new 3+3 articulation agreement that provides Graceland Allied Health students with an accelerated pathway to earning both a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

The pathway is designed for students who plan to become chiropractors and is ideal for students who choose the pre-chiropractic track within Graceland’s Allied Health major. Eligible students will complete their first three years of undergraduate study at Graceland before transferring to Logan University’s Doctor of Chiropractic program. After successfully completing their first year at Logan, designated coursework will transfer back to Graceland, allowing students to receive their Bachelor of Science in Allied Health. Students will then complete the remaining two years of Logan’s Doctor of Chiropractic program.
By integrating undergraduate and professional coursework, the 3+3 pathway allows students to complete both degrees in approximately six years, one year sooner than the traditional route. The accelerated pathway can reduce the overall cost of tuition, fees, housing and other educational expenses while allowing students to begin their chiropractic careers sooner.

By reducing the time and financial investment required to earn both degrees, we are helping students pursue their professional goals sooner and with less overall expense.”

The partnership also has a personal connection for Geiselman, who earned both a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University. His experience as a Logan graduate gives him firsthand knowledge of the university and its Doctor of Chiropractic program, allowing him to share insight with Graceland students about what to expect and help them prepare for the transition to professional education.

Graceland’s Allied Health major gives students interested in healthcare careers the opportunity to choose from specialized tracks, including pre-chiropractic, pre-athletic training, pre-occupational therapy and pre-physical therapy. Through classroom instruction, hands-on learning and access to health and human-performance technology, students develop the scientific knowledge and practical skills needed for success in professional programs and healthcare careers.
