Canvas Launch – New Online Learning Platform

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your academic experience, we are excited to announce that Graceland University will transition from Brightspace to Canvas as our online learning platform beginning May 4.
 
This decision follows an in-depth evaluation of multiple platforms, with a focus on improving usability, engagement, and the overall learning experience for our students. Canvas stood out as the best option to support both your academic success and the evolving needs of modern coursework.
 
What this means for you:
All courses beginning on or after May 4 will be delivered through Canvas;
Support resources and training materials will be available to ensure a smooth transition;
You can access Canvas now by going to login.graceland.edu. After logging in, click on the Canvas button. OR
You can see a student experience demo without logging in.
 
How Canvas will enhance your Graceland learning experience:
More intuitive design: Easier navigation so you can quickly find assignments, materials, and feedback
Improved collaboration tools: Better options for group work, discussion, and real-time interaction
Enhanced multimedia integration: More engaging course content with video, graphics, and interactive elements
Mobile-friendly experience: Seamless access across devices, making it easier to stay connected on the go
 
We understand that changes like this can take some adjustment, but we are excited to offer a new learning tool that will provide a more dynamic and user-friendly learning environment.
