Jared Doty, MBA

Jared Doty serves as Interim Vice President and Dean of Students and also services as the Director of the Sandage Center for the Study of Entrepreneurship and Free Markets at Graceland University. With more than two decades of experience in higher education, he has held leadership roles spanning student affairs, residence life, academic administration, and entrepreneurship education.

Jared’s career has focused on creating high-impact student experiences through innovative programming, student leadership development, campus operations, and strategic initiatives that strengthen student success. He has extensive experience in residence life administration, student conduct, Title IX investigations, crisis response, housing operations, conference services, and campus facility planning. He has also led the development of new policies, technology solutions, and student engagement initiatives that have improved both operational effectiveness and the student experience.

In addition to his student affairs leadership, Jared teaches business and management courses, including entrepreneurship, finance, investment analysis, and leadership. His work emphasizes practical problem-solving, innovation, and experiential learning, helping students connect classroom concepts with real-world applications. Through the Sandage Center and programs such as Enactus, he has mentored students in entrepreneurial thinking, community impact projects, and business competitions.

Jared is passionate about developing future leaders, fostering innovation within higher education, and building campus communities where students are challenged, supported, and prepared to succeed.
