Professor of Nursing

Dr. Voshall teaches pathophysiology, pharmacology, and adult health care. She teaches to provide a strong understanding of the science behind nursing to provide a sound education to nurses.

The topics of the courses she teaches are at the core of health care. She has taught the topics for many years and continues to be dedicated to staying up to date with care-based and evidence-based science.

My philosophy is that nursing is caring, and it applies to education. Demonstrating a caring attitude toward nursing students and provide enthusiasm for the content of nursing. A quote I use often is “This is important, write it down.” I tell students they are learning for when they are nurses, and it is 2 a.m. and they are caring for a patient and they need to know the material.
