What We Do

AmeriCorps Seniors Southern Iowa Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is part of the National Senior Service Corps. Southern Iowa RSVP is dedicated to connecting senior and retired individuals 55 and over with community non-profit organizations in Clarke, Decatur, Ringgold and Union counties in southern Iowa. These connections allow volunteers to serve as much or as little as they want in both long-term or short-term volunteer opportunities within their communities, leading to better physical health, improved mental health, investment in the future of their communities, and a powerful way to bridge divides
