Graceland will reintroduce the marvelous tradition of its marching band. Spread the news and march along! Visual and Performing Arts Division chair, Dr. Adam Groh, is excited to announce the forming of a marching band this fall and is busy recruiting players who want to be on the ground floor of creating an excellent program. The marching band will proudly wear the uniforms being created with Graceland colors as shown, with three design crests to alternate. Development is actively seeking support for this new initiative in our Visual and Performing Arts program. Donors who are “band enthusiasts” can offer assistance through Graceland’s Development Office, 800-645-3582.

We’re seeking out the best and brightest students who are passionate about marching band to help us lay the foundation of this exciting and dynamic new program! We know that the presence of live music at campus events will be transformative, and we can’t wait to share the talents of these young musicians with the Graceland community!
– Dr. Adam Groh

With Graceland Homecoming festivities to begin on September 30, look for the new Graceland Marching Band and inaugural performance!

I’m looking forward to Graceland’s new marching band this fall. The uniforms look really professional and reflect the integrity of the program. There are three options for the bibs which will show variety in our performances. It is an honor to be in on the ground floor, recreating this legacy for Graceland.”
