Dr. Chvala-Smith represented the Community of Christ Seminary
Dr. Anthony Chvala-Smith, Associate Professor and Paul E. Morden Seminary Chair of Religion, just returned from a trip to Washington, DC, where he participated in meetings of the Faith and Order Convening Table of the National Council Churches of Christ (NCC). The event was the first in-person gathering of Faith and Order since October 2019. Time was devoted to ongoing work on a book to be published next summer on addressing racism in the Church.
Community of Christ is a full member of the NCC.
