A Second Major For Everyone

As a new Graceland student, you will graduate with at least two majors: one or more in the program(s) of your choice and a new major in Transformational Leadership that will prepare you to be a more dynamic, empathetic, and collaborative leader: a transformational leader.  This cutting-edge program is only available at Graceland and is included at no extra charge and will not delay your graduation.

Simplifying the Cost of College

Understanding the cost of college can be challenging. Graceland's private school education is much more affordable than most people think, and we wanted to ensure our tuition price is closer to what you may actually pay. So we've transformed our base tuition price on the Lamoni campus from $32,500 to $19,950 beginning in the 2024-25 academic year.

A Single Scholarship
Tailored to YOU

In order to simplify the financial aid process, Graceland awards a single primary institutional scholarship that considers your financial need, academic accomplishments, athletic success, and your involvement in extra-curricular activities such as art, music, theatre, communications, social change, and sustainability. Your Graceland scholarship will be tailored to your strengths and interests.

When you ask someone about their time in college, the first things they mention typically aren’t the classes they took or the books they read, but the friendships they made and the adventures they had. At Graceland, the student community is built around the unique House system. Guided by our unshakeable guiding principle of inclusion, the Graceland House system combines on-campus housing and student government to create an instant community for all first-year students — and that community continues through graduation and beyond. Although each House is unique, each with its own name, symbol, colors and traditions, they all focus on the same things: coming together, having fun, and making your voice heard in your campus community.

Located just 90 minutes north of the Kansas City metro area, Graceland’s Lamoni campus is nestled in the gently rolling hills of southern Iowa, easily accessible just off of I-35. At Graceland, there’s always something fun to do. With 22 varsity athletic teams, 40 clubs and organizations, weekly free movies and multiple University sponsored entertainment events, you’ll have plenty of activities to choose from.

Lamoni is centrally located between Kansas City, Des Moines, Omaha, and Chicago.
