Graceland University Recycling FAQ:

What does Graceland recycle?

  • Aluminum cans
  • Plastics: #1 and #2
  • All types of paper (magazines, textbooks, pamphlets, etc.)
  • Cardboard
  • Ink cartridges

Where can I recycle?

Recycle bins can be found in every campus building.

Residence hall lounges: paper recycling is done in the main lounge of Graybill, Tess Morgan and Walker halls. These containers have slots at the top and can best be described as large trashcans with wheels. Each lounge also has a blue, octagonal-shaped recycle bin for cans and plastic bottles. Cans and bottles must be emptied and rinsed prior to being added to the bin.

Other campus buildings: there are several places to recycle paper, plastic bottles and cans across campus. Look for blue bins.
