Visiting Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice

The Department of Social Sciences at Graceland University seeks candidates for a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor position. The successful candidate will hold a Masters degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Criminal Justice or Criminology at the time of appointment. Duties include teaching introductory and advanced courses in Criminal Justice, ability to teach some courses in Sociology is desirable. While teaching is the primary function of this position, other duties include, but are not limited to, advising and mentoring students, serving on department and university committees, and continued professional development. Start date: August 2022. Review of application will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
