Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor of Math/Physics

The Department of Natural and Physical Sciences and the Department of Computer Science, Data Science, and Mathematics at Graceland University seek candidates for a Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor position for 1.5 years.  A Ph.D. in physics is preferred but candidates with a MS degree in physics at the time of appointment will be considered.  Duties include teaching college physics with laboratories, introductory courses in mathematics and statistics and some laboratory preparation/equipment maintenance.  While teaching is the primary function of this position, other duties include, but are not limited to, mentoring students, serving on department and university committees, and continued professional development. Start date: January 1, 2023.
