Tech Support Specialist

Do you like to assist people? Graceland University has a full-time, 12-month position open for a Tech Support Specialist working alongside the Information Technology Services team on the Lamoni, Iowa campus.

Responsibilities: First contact for inquiries to Tech Support lines of communication. Assist with assessing user needs and identifying next steps for resolution. In between contacts, you will assist in routing and tracking department quotes, invoices, contracts, and budgets. Collaborate with Information Technology Services team on project management while documenting objectives and timelines. Deliver quality customer service by presenting a personable, positive, and helpful attitude while resolving most requests within 48 hours.

Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to follow detailed processes, independently, with great attention to detail and accuracy is required. Candidate will need to prioritize tasks and perform within deadlines while maintaining professional tact and confidentiality. Bachelor’s degree and customer service experience or related experience and/or training preferred. The applicant must be willing to undergo background and credit checks.
