Graceland University is seeking a full-time, 12-month Registrar Assistant for the Independence, Missouri campus. As a member of the Registrar’s Office team, the Registrar Assistant provides lifelong services to students in a professional and caring atmosphere that puts the student first while maintaining the academic integrity of the university. The Registrar Assistant promotes student confidence and pride in Graceland by maintaining the accuracy of student academic information and permanent records. The successful applicant will be forward thinking, student-centered, and solution oriented.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in higher education academic/registration field;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to comprehend and interpret university and registrar policies, procedures, and academic regulations;
- Ability to handle confidential student data with discretion, knowledge of FERPA;
- Good organizational and time management skills, meet deadlines and work under pressure;
- Strong customer service orientation; interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential; ability to supervise;
- Ability to think critically and apply logic to solve problems;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Strong technical skills; proficiency with administrative computing systems, data processing, data entry, electronic forms, report writing tools, and desktop applications.
