The Graceland University School of Nursing and Seminary seeks a full time (12 months) Office Coordinator on the Independence, MO campus.  This position will:

  • Manage all aspects of annual reports to state boards of nursing and other nursing bodies, such as American Academy of Colleges of Nursing
  • Assist with accreditation reports and self-studies
  • Complete applications for approval to offer distance learning programs in states required
  • Maintain compliance with individual states boards of nursing
  • Run data reports to gather data for projects
  • Accuracy meeting report deadlines
  • Coordinate contracts of on-campus students clinical/practicum experiences
  • Coordinate applications for both masters and DNP program. Send out acceptance or rejection letters to students
  • Attend and coordinate minutes of meetings
  • Gather full time faculty and faculty associates credentialing documents
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, oral, written, and telephone
  • Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively



  • Answer student emails daily for any questions or requests
  • Email students and faculty on deadlines and missing items needed
  • Answer phone calls from students in a timely manner

Community of Christ Seminary Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee Seminary Admissions
    1. Downloads applications and leads daily
    2. Processes documents as received and enters information into the system(s) (CX, Uniface, etc.)
    3. Creates student files and organizes documents within each file
    4. Track and report applications received and statuses as requested
  2. Function as the program point of contact with Seminary students
    1. Send admission letters and documents
    2. Update records in CARS
    3. Set up programs of study
    4. Process course enrollments
    5. Process course and program withdrawals
  3. Work with Focus Session Coordinator, sending emails, schedules to students
  4. Work with program support specialist to get online course sections set up
  5. Maintain student files
  6. Run Cognos reports specific to Seminary data collection as needed
  7. Update Seminary Student Handbook and schedule of classes each year
  8. Coordinate Seminary events and conferences
  9. Attend and record meeting minutes for the Seminary Advisory Committee
  10. Other duties as assigned
