Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice

Graceland University is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor (or Visiting Assistant Professor) on the Lamoni, Iowa, campus, beginning January, 2021.  The successful applicant will be charged with the re-design of the Criminal Justice major including the development of an on-line degree. The candidate will support and teach courses in both Criminal Justice and Sociology. The 4/4 teaching load includes core Sociology courses and topics courses based on the candidate’s secondary interests that can appeal to both majors and non-majors.    

The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence. A commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching and service is required. Willingness to explore interdisciplinary connections desired.  Master’s degree required, Ph.D. preferred.
