The Division of Health and Movement Science, within the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Graceland University, invites candidates with expertise in exercise science, physical education, and coaching for a tenure track position starting August 2020.
We are looking for a motivated faculty member who can contribute to our curriculum by teaching courses in allied health, physical education, and coaching. The teaching load is 24 s.h. within the Health and Movement Science and Allied Health majors, with a focus on Exercise Science (exercise physiology, performance enhancement, corrective exercise), Physical Education (adaptive, methods and assessment), and Coaching theory and practice.
Applicants with a terminal degree in the areas of Health and/or Exercise Sciences, Human Performance, or Coaching are preferred. ABD and Masters in related discipline will be considered. Specialty certification in strength and conditioning (e.g., CSCS) is desirable. The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence. A commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching and service is required.
