Visiting Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice

Graceland University is seeking a visiting assistant professor, with the possibility of renewal, on the Lamoni, Iowa, campus beginning Aug. 2019. The successful applicant will support and teach courses in both criminal justice and sociology. The successful applicant will also oversee an online criminal justice program. The 4/4 teaching load includes core sociology courses and topics courses based on the candidate’s secondary interests that can appeal to both majors and non-majors.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated teaching excellence. A commitment to undergraduate liberal arts teaching and service is required. Willingness to explore interdisciplinary connections is desired. Master’s degree required, PhD preferred.
