Graceland University seeks its inaugural program director/faculty member for a new data science program.
The successful candidate must hold a PhD in Data Science or a closely related field and have strong commitment to excellence in teaching and working in a liberal arts environment. The program director/faculty member will be charged with development and implementation of the curriculum for a new data science program at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Primary responsibilities will include working through accreditation, admitting the first graduate class and providing leadership for all aspects of program development. Additional responsibilities will include some classroom and laboratory instruction, advising, academic coordination, program evaluation, scholarly activity, and committee involvement.
