About the Writing Center
The Graceland University Writing Center provides a supportive environment and attentive assistance to students in any academic program and at any level of writing ability on the Lamoni campus. The Writing Center serves students' writing needs by acting as a resource for improving their particular writing assignments or the general quality of their writing skills. Writing Center tutors function as experienced, interested readers who collaborate with students at any stage of the writing process to help them become more effective and capable writers.
In addition to the face-to-face center on the Lamoni campus, the Graceland University Writing Center began offering an online tutoring option for distance education students. Distance education students can arrange an online appointment by emailing Francis Acland. The Writing Center will call the student’s preferred phone number and the session will proceed just as if the student and tutor were in the same room. A popular format for this is Skype.
You may visit our webpage on my.graceland.edu for additional resources, including APA and MLA citation posters, and APA and MLA information on setup in Word 2010.
