What We Do

The Volunteer Center of Southern Iowa (VCSI)  hopes to ignite individuals and organizations to utilize volunteers to assist with community development by connecting the skills of community members, especially youth and young adults, to meaningful service opportunities. VCSI empowers southern Iowa communities to be caring and compassionate through volunteerism, and strives to help strengthen and support health, wellness, safety and social services, meeting the needs of and expanding opportunities for our youth, and providing opportunities to strengthen community connectedness.
