Term-Based Programs

Graceland University, in partnership with North Central Missouri College (NCMC) , Indian Hills Community College (IHCC) , and Metropolitan Community College (MCC) have created a unique program for non-traditional students pursuing a BA in Elementary Education.

• The program is delivered on three different campuses located in: Trenton, MO; Centerville, IA; and Independence, MO.
• The classes have been designed to meet the needs of those students that are unable to attend the home campus for various reasons.
• Classes are offered in a variety of formats including on-site, arranged, independent studies, and online.
• Classes are taught by Graceland University faculty and practicing professionals to provide a quality educational experience.
• Students can balance family, work, and school by attending courses offered in the evening.
• Classes meet one night per week for nine weeks.
• Students will be considered as full-time status by taking two 3-credit courses per nine-week term.

On the Centerville and Trenton campuses is a person that serves as the Site Director, and on the Independence campus this position is filled by an Administrative Assistant. The student is their first priority. They will serve as a source of information, be available when needed, be interested in you, and challenge you to achieve your goals. They will also process the registration and scheduling procedures and help you to choose the academic program that will best satisfy your educational needs.
