Recent Policy Changes
As of April 3, 2007, the Gleazer School of Education will require that Education candidates pass only the English (includes both an essay and literature) and Math (includes general math, algebra, and geometry) C-BASE subjects. All current candidates will be "grandfathered in" - i.e., candidates who have taken the test but failed to pass social studies or science will not need to continue to retake the social studies and science in order to meet the requirements of the C-BASE.
Also, the two-year rule is not longer in effect. If a candidate has not passed within two years of their first testing date, they will not be required to start over and may continue to retake the test until they have achieved passing scores.
