Nursing
Graceland University School of Nursing takes pride in developing graduates who internalize caring values that foster ethical practice. Successful achievement in the humanities is basic to understanding the whole person and his/her response in health and illness. According to the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, courses in the arts, sciences, and humanities provide a forum for the study of values, ethical principles, and the physical world as well as opportunities to reflect and apply knowledge gained to professional practice. A liberal education promotes critical thinking, the basis for clinical judgment and ethical decision-making. You will learn the art and science of nursing through a combination of liberal arts and science courses in the BSN degree program at Graceland University.

You will earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) as a graduate of Graceland University. This degree will provide you with a multitude of opportunities in the health care arena.

The nursing program is offered through the Independence Campus in Independence, Missouri, just two hours south of the Graceland main campus in Lamoni, Iowa. The program starts every summer, immediately before the junior year begins.
