Ackerley Computer Science and Technology Scholars Program

This is a program funded through the endowed gift of Robert and Leland Ackerley, brothers who own and operate Smith and Associates, an independent worldwide distributor of electronic components. The fund benefits Graceland's computer science and information technology (CS/IT) programs through student scholarships, lab upgrades, faculty professional development and support, and through program sponsored efforts. The scholarships are competitive to attract exceptional students interested in CS/IT. The scholarship recipients, known as the Ackerley Scholars, engage themselves in scholarly pursuits and assist the director with planning and implementing Ackerley Program activities that involve other CS/IT students.
