Recent Policy Changes
As of April 3, 2007, the Gleazer School of Education requires that Education candidates pass only the English (includes both an essay and literature) and Math (includes general math, algebra, and geometry) C-BASE subjects. All current candidates will be "grandfathered in" - i.e., candidates who have taken the test but failed to pass social studies or science will not need to continue to retake the social studies and science in order to meet the requirements of the C-BASE.
Also, the two-year rule is not longer in effect. If a candidate has not passed within two years of their first testing date, they will not be required to start over and may continue to retake the test until they have achieved passing scores.

Registration
The cost of the test is $130; this includes $80.00 for the test and $50.00 for the test registration (cost will be an additional $75 to take both the 10011 and 10014 tests). Beginning September 2007, test takers will only be required to pay the registration fee once per testing year instead of every time they register. Candidates will now have an Emergency Registration period which allows the test taker to register after the late registration deadline, and guarantees a seat at a testing center. Register online at the ETS website. A bulletin by ETS on Information and Registration is available HERE.
Beginning with the September 13, 2008 paper-based administration, test takers who register online for a paper-based test must access test scores via their Praxis account. This service is free of charge. This service will replace the mailing of a paper score report. The process is easy — simply log into your Praxis account and click on your score report. You will be able to view, print and download your scores days earlier than those who registered by mail or phone. You may access your scores for a given paper-based administration after 5 p.m. Eastern Time (New York) on the score report mailing date.
Score reports for individuals who register by paper will continue to be mailed approximately four weeks after the test date.
Request that your scores be sent to the School of Education (RA6249) at Graceland University. Other codes you will need during registration:
