Having the opportunity for real-life classroom experiences is an important part of Graceland's Teacher Education program. We appreciate the public school and university personnel who assist and cooperate with us in this endeavor. New Professional Development Opportunity!!
We are very pleased to announce that money has been made available through the State of Iowa's Teacher Quality Enhancement grant for cooperating teachers and administrators to enroll in graduate level coursework at Graceland University. Travel/Teaching Abroad Opportunity!
IREX from Washington, D.C. is looking for secondary teachers to participate in a two-week professional exchange program to a variety of countries in April 2010.  The program is fully funded through a grant from the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA), including your cost of airfare, meals, etc.  To find out more or download an application go to: www.irex.org .  To ask questions, contact Anne Milazzo at amilazzo@irex.org .
