Admissions Requirements for the RN to MSN Accelerated Program
RN-MSN Admission Requirements:
Qualified applicants will be granted provisional offers of admission to the MSN program pending successful completion of all undergraduate BSN courses with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the U.S.A. & its territories.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours of graded undergraduate coursework.
A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in all graded undergraduate nursing courses.
A grade of C or better in each of the following undergraduate support courses:
Anatomy and Physiology I and II
Introduction to General, Organic and BioChemistry
Introduction to Microbiology
Nutrition
Introduction to Psychology
Developmental Psychology
Unimpeded matriculation into the MSN program upon completion of required undergraduate coursework requires:
maintenance of a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher in all undergraduate nursing courses, and
a grade of C or better or satisfactory completion of a standardized competency examination in the following graduate support courses:
