Financial Aid for Nurses
We know that financing your continuing education may be one of your biggest concerns. The following information is provided to make the process easier and more understandable. Below you will find specifics about tuition, the types of financial aid available and payment options.Federal Aid
Graceland's nursing programs are eligible for federal aid. Undergraduates may be eligible for federal and state grants and loans, and graduates may be eligible for federal loans. You can apply for federal and state financial aid by going online to www.fafsa.ed.gov and filing a FAFSA using Graceland's school code (001866). These are low interest loans and payment is deferred until six months after you graduate or drop below half-time enrollment within our program.Once your FAFSA is filed, verification completed if necessary and you have completed the admissions process to Graceland, an award notice with the amount of aid you are eligible for that fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) will be e-mailed to you. Until you have completed the financial aid process, student accounts will require that you make payments on the classes you enroll in. Once your aid package is in place, you will be reimbursed with your financial aid money.
