- Served as a nursing representative to college-wide faculty development committee. (2001-2003).
- Developed the course: Nursing Care Techniques in an Associate Degree of Nursing program. During a curriculum revision we deleted the prerequisite for CNA (certified nursing assistant). This course introduced basic concepts needed by beginning nursing students prior to a clinical rotation. (2000).
- Developed a “safety assessment tool” to be used by beginning nursing students in an assisted living setting or senior center. This tool assessed the older adult’s environment for safety hazards. (2000).
- Developed Weekend Option Program for experienced RNs and LPNs interested in only working weekends. This was done as we attempted to decrease agency nurse usage in a free standing rehabilitation facility. (1991).
