From a modern take on Ancient Airs and Dances (middle ages but rewritten 100 years ago) to the most modern (written a couple weeks ago!)... This year’s Concerto winner Widalys Cruz Gonzalez will perform Mozart’s "Rondo" from the Bassoon Concerto in B flat, composer Tessla Michael will present her own world premiere, "I’m Flying," written especially for the diverse instruments of the Graceland Orchestra, And Conductor Jack Ergo will lead the group through his own transcription of the 16th century composer John Coperario’s "Al Primo Giorno," written for five independent voices.
