Live presentation of: "This Evil Thing"

April 18

7:00 pm

Carol Hall

Can you be forced to kill in war? This Evil Thing is a one-man play on war and conscience written and performed by movie, TV and theater actor Michael Mears. Michael Mears and Maria Santelli, Executive Director of the Center on Conscience & War in Washington, D.C. will be on campus on Wednesday, April 18.

This Evil Thing will be performed live. A talk-back will follow. This Evil Thing is the compelling, shocking and inspiring story of the men who said no to war. It is a rarely told story involving a dizzying journey from a chapel in Yorkshire to the House of Commons; from an English country garden to a quarry in Aberdeen; from a cell in Richmond Castle to a firing squad in France. The questions raised here are as relevant and urgent as they were 100 years ago.
