CONSTITUTION DAY SPECIAL GUEST LECTURE:

Scott OurthGraceland's Department of History & Political Science invites you to our annual distinguished speakers' series. This year, we are pleased to welcome Rep. Scott Ourth, who serves Iowa's 26th District in the Iowa House of Representatives. Rep. Ourth is a former Graceland student and a longtime friend of the campus. He will be delivering a lecture and leading discussion on the topic of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution, guaranteeing women's suffrage (the right to vote). The event will be held in Carol Hall in the Shaw Center. All students, faculty and staff of Graceland, and all interested members of the larger community, are invited to attend.
